ABOUT KINDERGARTEN
There are three grades in our Kindergarten School, K1, K2 and K3. Each grade offers a wide variety of activities that are designed to stimulate the mind and physical development of each age group. Our classes are kept small so that each child can get the attention and care he or she needs. Lessons are planned based on the Jamaica Early Childhood Curriculum Guide and include The Integrated Thematic Curriculum courses utilised at Early Childhood Institutions in Jamaica.
MEET OUR FACILITATOR
“Hi! My name is Sandia Williams Whyte, and I am the K3 teacher at Mentes Brillantes. I’ve been a teacher for over fifteen years. During this time I’ve come to the knowledge and understanding that children are individuals with a lot to say, and I purpose to take the time to listen to them and learn as much as I can. In my class, I ensure that my students are encouraged to believe in themselves and their abilities to achieve anything that they think they can.”
